Topsarge Business Solutions Announces Dan Elder as the 2024 Recipient of the Sergeant Major of the Army William G. Bainbridge Medal

Temple, TX – Topsarge Business Solutions (TBS) proudly announces that Dan Elder received the distinguished Sergeant Major of the Army William G. Bainbridge Medal. This honor recognizes his exceptional contributions to the United States Army Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) Corps. Established in 2000 by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), the award is presented annually to one outstanding noncommissioned officer. It specifically honors individuals who have made the most significant contributions to the NCO Corps in the past year.

Dan Elder, has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to the NCO Corps. He has dedicated himself to initiatives that uplift and support the Army’s enlisted leaders. Through his visionary leadership, mentorship, and dedication beyond his active service, Elder has had a lasting impact on Army policies, programs, and the professional development of NCOs.

The Bainbridge Medal, awarded only to NCOs whose contributions extend beyond their assigned duties, honors those who make a remarkable impact on the Army and its soldiers. Recipients, selected through an inclusive process, reflect the values of the NCO Corps and Army leadership.

Mr. Elder formally accepted the Sergeant Major of the Army William G. Bainbridge Medal at the AUSA Annual Meeting, with his daughter Courtney by his side to support him. Courtney’s presence at the ceremony symbolized the support of the entire family as the Army community honored his legacy and contributions to the Corps.

Established in 2000, the Sergeant Major of the Army William G. Bainbridge Medal is awarded annually by AUSA to recognize the outstanding contributions of noncommissioned officers to the U.S. Army NCO Corps.
