Topsarge Business Solutions announced on July 12, 2019 that it was awarded a multi-year, $1.8-million cooperative agreement between TBS and the U.S. Army Research Institute (ARI) for Developing Noncommissioned Officers for the Future Force. The firm relocated to Texas in 2008 and has developed a corporate reputation by providing high-demand services as both a sub-contractor and prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal agencies. This new project delivers research support that is focused on developing innovative measures and methods to improve and enhance the Soldier lifecycle. This new project allows the Central Texas-based company and its employees and associates to continue to grow and professionally develop Army leaders.
Managing patrner and Principal Investigator for this important 3-year Army futures project noted that “many people contributed to the advancement in charting a future for the American noncommissioned enlisted leaders, and we are proud to be able to contribute.” This new research support project will utilize transitioned servicemembers and their subject matter experts to capture critical knolwedge and expereince and use that to reinvest back into the force.
Elder also noted that Command Sergeant Major Philip Johndrow, U.S. Army, Retired, will join TBS as the Director of Operations, and his Co-principal Investigator. He stated that “The Army will be well-served by Phil’s continued mentorship to the force.”
